JOB DESCRIPTION

Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will assemble, test, and inspect product and systems to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. A Mechanical Technician with expertise in electronics plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of mechanical and electronic systems. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining electronic components within mechanical frameworks, troubleshooting, and repairing both mechanical and electronic malfunctions. This role demands a keen eye for detail in assembling integrated systems, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to document and communicate effectively. Continuous learning about advancements in both mechanical and electronic technologies is essential, as is contributing to preventive maintenance strategies to optimize the lifespan of integrated systems. The Mechanical Technician-Electronics’ diverse skill set is crucial for quality control, system upgrades, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

•Will have to be willing to cross train to limit production disruptions.
•Conduct tests and evaluations on electronic systems to ensure functionality and adherence to specifications.
•Install and integrate electronic components into mechanical systems, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic malfunctions to identify and address issues promptly.
•Assemble mechanical and electronic components for production.
•Capability to apply broad knowledge of one professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical/operational practices.
•Participate in continuous improvement activities.
•Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness.
•Comply with all security rules.
•Comply with all safety rules.
•Record and report production data.
•Set up and change over equipment.
•Use measuring and diagnostic tools.
•Collaborate with engineering teams.
•Exchange task level information
•Communicate non-compliance incidents.

  • Travel to our ACST locations will be involved for the first year with the potential to extend
  • Average travel will be 2 - 3 weeks per month
  • This is a first shift schedule
  • Overtime will be based on the companies needs
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship required toobtain and maintain government security clearance.
• 3+ years’ experience inassembly. Capability to apply broad knowledge of one professional discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical/operational practices.
