Key Responsibilities

Serves in a consultative capacity with other internalorganizations. CoordinatesFacilities/IndustrialSafety, Product Safety, Lab Safety and Sustainability.

Participates in compliance evaluation of products, programs, and facilities per company and governmental requirements. Participates in the evaluation and analysis of concept and feasibility studies.

Manage 3rd party Product Safety tool assessments and drive corrective actions within the various internal organizations.

May develop and implement Product Safety training programs for operations andexposures. Evaluatesand specifies work methods, design requirements, procedures and policies. Gathers EHS information and evaluates results. Administers EH&S safety training programs.

May investigate accidents or incidents and analyze pertinentdata. Participatesin compliance evaluation of products, programs, and facilities per company and governmentalrequirements.Investigates accidents and specifies corrective action. Able to use 8D, FMEA, PHA and other investigation and assessment methods.

Has working knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements, codes and standard in their EH&S discipline. Evaluates and specifies work methods, design requirements, procedures and policies.

Other Requirements:This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools.

Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required.
