Role & Responsibilities:Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of accruals and prepayments.
Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed.Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills.
Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseB+ to C1 proficiency in English and native fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles and concepts, such as double-entry accounting, debits, credits, and the general ledger.
Data Entry Skills: Capable of accurately inputting financial data into accounting systems or spreadsheets.
Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and discrepancies in journal entries and reconcile them promptly.
Organization skills: Capability to maintain orderly and well-documented records of journal entries for auditing and reporting purposes.
Communication skills: Capable of communicating to interact with team members and supervisors, seeking clarification when necessary.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and procedures.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Some relevant internship or entry-level accounting experience preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
Ability in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
