We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to participate in all phases of software development from requirements through implementation and test to operations.As a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer you will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive and design solutions. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open, collaborative peer environment.Export Control Requirement:Key job responsibilities
* Work closely with hardware teams and operation teams to align on requirements
* Create software designs to satisfy requirements
* Develop embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages for Linux and real-time operating system (RTOS) based systems
* Write device drivers and system applications for the various satellite systems.
A day in the life

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
