As a Senior Traffic Engineer in Dallas, Texas, you will work in the areas of Traffic Engineering Design including traffic signals, interchange evaluation, roundabouts, signing/pavement marking, MOT; ITS Design including Interconnect design, DMS and system detection design. On the Traffic Operations side the areas include - traffic operations analysis, safety analysis and traffic macro/micro modeling. You will work closely with other members of the team in delivering traffic engineering projects including traffic operational analysis, traffic microsimulation models, roadway design, signal design, ITS design, signing and marking, and/or construction traffic control plans, etc. You will develop leadership skills by providing technical direction and mentoring to less experienced personnel.
