We work on some of the highest profile and most important strategic infrastructure projects and contribute across the infrastructure lifecycle. This includes:

  • policy development and strategy
  • business case development,
  • economic, financial and commercial analysis,
  • project and programme delivery and assurance services,
  • strategic and digital transformation; and
  • taking transactions to market and supporting transaction evaluation, negotiation, execution and contract management.

Your key responsibilities

  • Developing clear, well written and easy to understand reports and presentations to assist our clients in understanding complex problems
  • Providing strategic, economic, commercial and financial advice to clients
  • Financial model development and analysis
  • Public sector policy analysis using quantitative economic analysis and market research
  • Managing assignments by ensuring that work products and services are client focused, accurate and well presented
  • Supporting the delivery of feasibility studies for government, donor agencies and private sector clients
  • Working within a partnering environment, forming effective working relationships (both internal and external) and make a positive outcome to the investment programme/sub-programmes
  • Building relationships with clients and other industry professionals
  • Participating in business development activities including leading the development of proposals and presentations
  • Leading and supporting in the training and developing of the team’s professional and technical skills

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8-15 years of work experience, with experience working with the infrastructure sector (especially in the transportation sector).
  • Leadership skills especially in areas of Project Management and People Management
  • Knowledge of PPP/PFI, concessions and acquisition and project financing structures / contracts in the infrastructure sector
  • Project Financing knowledge, with understanding of project financial modelling and financing markets
  • Strong numerical, financial and modelling skills based on a well-developed understanding of financial statements
  • Sound commercial judgment and an ability to generate creative solutions to problems

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Transactions experience in a top-tier advisory firm, infrastructure service provider, investment bank, relevant government agency or other relevant sectors
  • Client facing experience from a professional services background
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, ASIA, CPA, CA and CMA, considered an advantage.
  • A high performance professional who can articulate a value proposition, developing business cases / models and lead and advise on projects in the infrastructure sector from bid stage to financial close
