Required Qualifications:

  • High School Qualification or equivalent AND 3+ years experience supporting IT equipment or related technology or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale environments
    • OR equivalent experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related analytical field is preferred; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA) areadvantageous

Responsibilities
  • financial managementactivities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring data center metro financial accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Develop and communicate financial insights tosenior metro leadership, translating complex data into actionable recommendations that drive business performance and cost optimization.
  • Manage the financial and operational aspects of vendor relationships, including contract oversight, performance metrics, and coordination of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure alignment with businessobjectives.
  • Partner with data center operations teams tomonitorand track spend, evaluate cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategic projects to improve financial efficiency.
  • Serve as a key resource for financial controllership, supporting month-end close activities and preparing detailed spend management review materials for the metro.
  • Identifyinefficiencies or defects in processes and lead initiatives to automate, standardize, and streamline operations to improve accuracy and reduce waste.
  • Function asthe primary liaison forcritical vendorcoordination, ensuring alignment between metro leadership, operations teams, and externalvendorsto support seamless execution of business priorities.
  • Collaborate with local and global teams to drivethe adoptionof best practices, implement process improvements, and ensure consistency in operational and financial activities across the metro.
  • Coordinate and manage site visits from internal teams, external customers, and Microsoft executives, ensuring a professional and seamless experience.
  • Contribute thought leadership to evolve processes, services, and solutions in support of data center operational excellence and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
