Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 3+ years’ experience in creating, managing, or optimizing a hardware/software product lifecycle or manufacturing system.
  • 3+ years' experience in using data analytics for continuous improvement and risk management.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years’ experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years’ experience managing cross-functional teams and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s)’ experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 2+ years’ experience with large-scale distributed systems, datacenter infrastructure, and cloud services engineering.
  • 6+ years’ experience demonstrating ability to build relationships and influence in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the introduction of new cloud services, hardware platforms and the tools / processes to deploy next generation cloud infrastructure capabilities.
  • Work directly with partner engineering teams across Microsoft to ensure new services meet the scale and cycle time specifications for high volume deployments.
  • Analyze data to identify, prototype, and drive the implementation of technical and process improvements to increase the predictability, agility, and quality of our capacity deployment systems.
  • Continuously drive improvements in the Time-to-Market (TTM) for the introduction of new cloud services
  • Ability to effectively communicate with and influence partner teams.
  • Provide technical and program leadership with respect and integrity.
  • Drive technical projects from requirements through launch, including managing complex project schedules, mitigating risks, and keeping processes running smoothly.
  • Develop status reports and communicate project status to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Embody ourand
