Project/Program Management: Manages key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes; develops and implements project plan; builds team ownership and commitment to project plan.
Estimates project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools, and by working with appropriate staff to understand scope of effort.
Prepares project plans, schedules and budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and by working with appropriate staff to understand tasks necessary to complete project.
Directs project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
Managing challenges of technology application and new product development including identification, communication and escalation of technical and business risks
Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing and following appropriate methodologies (e.g. GSM).
Communicates project status by preparing standard status reports, and by participating in executive level project status update meetings.
Resolves project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Experience in high regulated industries
Prior experience leading global technology implementation programs
Strong understanding of Change Management practices with excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Strong experience interacting with multiple internal stakeholders at once (Site, Division, and Regional Quality leaders and other support functions)
Ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and with outside vendors/consultants
Results-orientated and excels working in fast-paced, competitive environment
Works autonomously and demonstrates ability to take responsibility
