Process Overview*

PRDS (Party Reference Data Source) is an ADS (Authorized Data Source) of Customer profile and Party to Account data. PRDS application receives customer data from various operational hubs, processes the data and loads using ETL tools to the W warehouse, catering multiple downstream applications. The technologies used in this process are Teradata and Hive as Database, DataStage and Hadoop /PYSPARK /HQL as ETL, Unix as file Landing environment.

Job Description*

PRDS team is looking for a talented and highly motivated Senior ETL Developer, the candidate should be responsible for DataStage/Hadoop/PYSPARK development, maintenance, working with Service Delivery Architects, collaborate with other domain specific applications, infrastructure, or information team, System Design Engineers, and technologists to complete deliverables. Should be able to handle the agile team from India and drive the deliverables. Strong Experience in Hadoop/PYSPARK, Hive, DataStage, SQL, UNIX, Shell Scripting. Qualified candidates must be well-versed in data warehousing and ‘Big Data’ parallel processing technologies.

Responsibilities*

• As an ETL Developer, Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains, and tests software applications
• Demonstrate SME in PRDS to provide expertise in design and development of applications.
• As a Lead developer should be able to drive the project deliverables of the Agile teams from India.
• Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications using DataStage/Hadoop/PYSPARK applications.
• Experience with tuning system for performance improvements
• Support during platform migrations, project implementations and L3 Support
• Supports best practices, platform usage standards and guidelines
• Contributes to User Stories Refinement and take care of all the Agile team activities
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Expert experience with SQL knowledge, writing SQL queries, analyze complex queries with huge volume of Data.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills
• Highly motivated, excellent thought leadership and able to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills; positive attitude
