Solution Development: Lead the development and implementation of essential privacy processes, such as data breach procedures and documentation of data processing operations.
Standards Development: Collaborate with Privacy Legal Teams to translate legal requirements into scalable privacy program deliverables.
Compliance Monitoring: Maintain and develop monitoring of compliance with global privacy policies, key requirements of international laws and regulations, and track basic metrics and performance indicators.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT, information security, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of privacy requirements.
Global Collaboration: Maintain alignment with stakeholders in key jurisdictions on privacy topics to support their compliance efforts.
Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant work experience, including significant experience in building Privacy Governance and implementing global privacy regulations in an international setting.
Additional experience in related fields like data governance or information security governance is an advantage.
Knowledge of global privacy regulations (GDPR is a must; additional laws are a plus).
Experience with privacy management tools and building processes and tools for scalable privacy compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in law, IT, business, or a related field.
Professional certification (CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT) is a plus.
Excellent team player, able to build productive working relationships within the team and across the organization
Ability to take action, provide direction and develop effective solutions in complex environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
Ability to break down complex legal requirements into scalable processes and tools; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is beneficial.
