SCADA, DCSs, and Safety Systems along with advanced software applications e.g. plant historians.

The successful applicant will require being on call on a rotating roster. Although some routine service work is involved, a large portion of the workload will involve upgrading customer sites from previous Honeywell control systems to current technologies and the programming and commissioning of small systems on new installations. On occasions, helping project engineers on large projects will be required.

Preferably 5 plus years of experience in delivering SCADA, DCSs, and Safety Systems along with advanced software applications e.g. plant historians

Experience with setting up and maintaining Networks

In depth knowledge of industrial instrumentation & control equipment

Responsible for technical delivery of Control Systems preventative and remedial maintenance

Maintain, install and service DCS/SCADA packages and other software in the MES layer

Familiarity with wide variety of industrial plants and applications as applicable to control systems

-Internal and external liaison with including Service and project progress reporting

- Identifying and acting upon, sales and service opportunities

Degree qualification in an engineering discipline, Electrical/Mechatronics engineering - preferred.

Valid unrestricted driver’s license – mandatory

On call support

Exceptional computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software packages

Outstanding communications skills. The ability to communicate complex issues concisely and with clarity
