DESCRIPTION

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the subject matter expert on presenting data in an informative and actionable way, facilitating productive, cross-functional dialogue. Your detailed analysis will inform decisions on investments, opportunities, and performance. You will collaborate with our centralized Business Intelligence and Data Engineering team to leverage existing data and build access to new data needed to inform business decisions. You will build analytical models, size opportunities, prioritize for ROI, implement techniques to process large data sets, apply statistical testing methods, address quantitative problems, build dashboards that enable leaders to better understand their business data, assess functional business performance, and develop targeted, scalable action plans. As an experienced data expert, you will be responsible for supporting and advising team peers who lead functional strategies. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tangible insights, business metrics, measurement systems that guide operations, projects, and programs roadmaps. You will have an opportunity to publish findings, updates, and data-driven recommendations to Senior Leadership.Key job responsibilities- Build data visualization reports and tools for self-service data consumption.
- Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes.- Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights.
- Serve as the primary data and analysis expert supporting a team of 30+ individuals, creating an intake and prioritization process to balance fast-turnaround business needs with regular processes and longer-term strategic projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, engineering , analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related technical or quantitative field
- 2+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
