The Senior Global Commercial Product Manager in the Structural Heart franchise is the primary owner for all commercial programs for the ACURATE heart valve, which provides life-saving technology for patients suffering from severe aortic stenosis. The Sr. PM plays a key role in setting the commercial franchise vision and strategy based on their expert knowledge of the market, competition, and global trends.
This person is an experienced marketer and demonstrates strength in general franchise management, product life cycle management, operates independently, requiring minimal supervision, and develops and executes key franchise strategies. They will also partner on the launch of ACURATE into new key markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the global commercial marketing lead for ACURATE while working with other structural heart product managers to develop commercial program strategies as well as execute these programs with the field and international marketing partners to drive franchise growth.
- Globally transition our ACURATE neo2 platform to ACURATE Prime.
- Strategically partnering on OUS launch strategies for ACURATE, developing and executes high-quality marketing plans, value propositions, positioning, customer targeting, pricing strategies, branding strategy, evidence strategy, etc., for products.
- Creation of market specifications and financial models for the annual operating plan, as well as other portfolio strategies.
- Plan strategies and tactics for high-impact events such as society meetings, symposiums/webinars, and other physician and sales related events.
- Develops franchise forecasts for supply chain as well as overall revenue planning.
- Cross-functional leadership; and being viewed as subject matter expert (SME) for assigned products.
- Creates relationships and strategic partnerships with physician thought leaders to execute critical franchise & business initiatives.
- Develops deep understanding of competitors and leads competitive action plans to help position franchise.
- Demonstrates command of clinical literature and knowledge.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in downstream and/or upstream marketing
- Experience managing products that are medically/clinically oriented; medical device experience preferred
- Global experience required, with structural heart experience preferred
- Experience creating impactful commercial marketing plans, developing value propositions, positioning, and targeting, as well as business case opportunities
- Ability to travel of 25% or more as well as potential for some international travel
- Ability to listen to physician/customer needs and prioritize needs and effectively communicate them to key cross-functional partners
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree
- New product or program launch experience
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present to peers as well as executive management
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and foster constructive relationships with key internal and external customers.
