Your key responsibilities

  • Ensure that all payments to local vendors are executed timely, in compliance with EY policies and established credit periods.
  • Oversee timely payments to foreign vendors and coordinate with banks for import payments, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and proper documentation.
  • Ensure that SAP is properly configured and up to date to process vendor payments, including the setup of material codes and withholding tax codes, to facilitate accurate financial transactions.
  • Maintain and enhance income tax compliance processes within SAP related to income tax and sales tax withholding. Regularly update the taxonomy related to withholding taxes in accordance with changing regulatory requirements to maintain compliance.
  • Ensure that all tax compliance and withholding requirements are met when processing payments to external vendors and ensuring timely deposit of withheld taxes to tax authorities and submission of returns.
  • Manage the payment status and schedules for special projects, ensuring that all project-related payments are made on time and in compliance with relevant laws and regulation.
  • Ensure that all invoices are accurately recorded in the accounting system, and where necessary, make sufficient vendor accruals to reflect outstanding obligations.
  • Reconcile vendor subsidiary ledgers with the accounting system to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assess cash flow requirements related to vendor payment as per the credit period and its timely communication to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively coordinate with vendors to address any payment-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Ensure the timely processing of employee T&E claims in accordance with EY policies and guidelines, while coordinating with staff to address any related issues.
  • Reconcile staff T&E advances, adjustments, and payments to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with EY policies.
  • Provide support for external statutory audits and tax audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and providing necessary documentation.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Ideally, you’ll alsohave5 to 7 years of proven experience in vendor payments, tax compliance, and financial reconciliation at supervisory level


What we look for:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP and local tax compliance regulations.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
