As a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional technical support and service to our customers. With your expertise in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our customers' equipment and systems. Your strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will ensure efficient and effective service delivery, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work out of our designated location in. This position requires a combination of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility and convenience. In this role, you will impact our customers by ensuring the smooth operation of their equipment and systems, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Your ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues will contribute to the overall success of our field service operations.

The salary for this position is ($72,000 - 90,000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on customer equipment and systems, with a focus on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems and provide technical guidance and support

• Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, parts usage, and customer communication

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance your technical skills

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, with a focus on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)

Ability to travel up to 80%+ domestically and/or internationally

• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with PLC systems and troubleshooting

• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
