Your role

  • You shape and orchestrate strategic engagements journeys and cocreations in collaboration with the C-suite of our strategic account/ partner and senior leadership in Philips.

  • You translate engagement needs and customer insights into an effective preparation process including the creation of executive briefing documents to involve senior leadership.

  • You lead internal cross functional Philips team(s) with clarity and focus to ensure that an outside in perspective is applied.

  • You take care of effective communication with senior leadership develop and maintain a high level of intimacy with stakeholders in Philips business units and the European/ Growth market region. For this you utilize your strengths in informal leadership.

  • You develop empowering content frameworks, insights, tools, and artifacts based on what is learned in the c-level engagements and on strategic focus of the different businesses.

  • You identify core capability needs and gaps in businesses and/ or the international market organization (Region) for which inspiring data and ideas are generated that can drive the change in the organization for growing this capability. Where needed, colleagues are trained by you.


You are a right fit if

  • 10 -12 years of experience related to strategic design, design research and customer cocreation preferably in combination with strong business focused role.

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in design

  • Significant experience in consulting, management, or working with design strategy

  • Experience in market research, data analysis, visualization & project management

  • Track record in driving customer-centered engagement strategies, combining deep business knowledge and applying design methods like design thinking and service design.

  • Advanced skills to facilitate executive level stakeholders, customers, and contributors to the engagement with proven experience to drive outcome and impact in strategic dialogues.

  • Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across the Philips value chain and develop strategies for managing change, leveraging influencing skills on themes outside the Design scope e.g., finance, marketing, innovation, operations.

  • Proven ability to analyze unstructured sets of information and synthesize the info to drive clarity and understanding around customer’s context and needs.

  • Excellent verbal and written skills and business command of the English and preferably a second (European)language
