Provide analytic and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading on derivatives and securities transactions
Maintain position records in coordination with the traditional trading desk assistant and / or trade processing functions
Complete daily account reconciliation of incoming and outgoing payments, escalating any found issues
Provide support for all operational processes and clients and complete thorough reports on account activity with clear and reliable data
Ensure all Issuers remain informed on their outstanding payments
Participate in Client calls, weekly metrics calls, User Acceptance Training (UAT) implementation and training activities
Monitor errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies and suggest recommendations to correct errors
Participate in Business as Usual (BAU) reports and projects and review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a related role
Experience working within or knowledge of Capital Markets preferred
Efficient and effective with numerical tasks and transactions
Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Attention to detail and intermediate problem solving skills
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Economics or Business Studies
