Description
- Validating RF Exposure test cases for different regulatory domains in certification test setups.- Translating WW regulatory requirements into test cases. Coordinating with regulatory compliance teams to ensure product validation covers all certification tests.- Define/execute validation plan for RF Exposure facing SW features.- Debugging marginal/failure tests with cross-functional teams like RFHW /Antenna/ Product Design/EE/etc. and drive design changes to address issues- Maintain test setups via periodic checks, calibration, etc.- Help Regulatory Compliance teams in planning/executing on final certification testing at 3rd party test labs.
Key Qualifications
  • Working experience of antenna design and tests, in particular hands-on experience for compliance measurements is desirable
  • Working Experience with different wireless communication systems such as GSM/UMTS/LTE, 802.11xx, Bluetooth etc. including the corresponding system level specifications (e.g., ETSI 51.010, 51.05…) is important.
  • Working Experience with regulatory requirements and certification process for wireless consumer devices, including FCC, PTCRB, CTIA, ETSI, 3GPP etc.
  • Excellent communication skills required, both written & verbal
  • Experience with 5GmmWave standard and/or hands-on chamber/system level understanding is a plus.
  • Experience with Antenna/EM simulation tools is a plus.
Education & Experience
BS degree in technical discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
