Responsibilities:

  • Drive end to end expense management for the International segment including delivering Plan and ensuring resourcing aligns with strategic priorities
  • Manage forward looking processes, partnering with FP&A, including forecasts, strategic/operating plans, monthly outlooks, and review results against plans monthly
  • Partner with FP&A counterparts to generate reporting and analytics, identifying key trends / areas of focus and providing actionable insights to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and/or control
  • Lead detailed review of the entire International cost base and drive right-placing or rationalization of expenses including managing the productivity program to identify saves
  • Partner with FP&A counterparts to create the expense Operating Plan for International, overseeing outputs of Finance driven exercises (QMMF, model analytics, etc.)
  • Partner with the business to effectively manage resourcing needs across International, including headcount (detailed tracking of attrition / replacement and ensuring proper organizational structure is in place), T&E, Advertising & Marketing (including sponsorship tracking and tracking vs. FBE), etc.
  • Manage the expense approval process and ensure approved expenses are within Plan
  • Create analyses and explain charge out process to key stakeholders
  • Create ad-hoc analyses for business review purposes and presentations for senior management
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated presentation skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
