What you will be doing:

  • Work with the Autonomous Vehicle Platform teams to come up with project roadmaps, schedules, milestones and deliverables.

  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect project’s scope, schedule and quality.

  • Help the team to coordinate deliverables needed for achieving the required safety & cybersecurity process qualifications or certifications

  • Collaborate with various NV internal teams, along with partner/customers as part of the execution

  • Assist in improving process and procedures within the team. Help streamline day-to-day operations.

  • Regularly communicate the program status and key issues to management and across stakeholder organization.

  • As the focal point, schedule and lead status meetings, handle communication of progress/status within/across engineering teams, and supervise critical issues

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience, with 10+ years experience in a similar or related role.

  • 5+ years recent Program/Project Management experience driving the planning and execution of software engineering projects, and releasing commercial products.

  • Consistent track record of leading and successfully delivering medium to large organizational wide programs and projects.

  • Proven ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflow.

  • Consistent track record of being well organized, having excellent two way communication skills and being detail oriented

  • Expert proficiency with road-mapping tools, JIRA, and Confluence

  • Detailed knowledge of software engineering principles
