Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 2+ years oftechnical engineering experiencewith coding in C# or other modern programming language.
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check : This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years oftechnical engineering experiencewith coding in C# or other modern programming language.
  • OR master's degree in computer science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experiencewith coding in C# or other modern programming language.
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 3+years experiencebuilding cloud-native serviceswith microservices, or service-oriented architecture, preferably with azure cloud technologies.
• Experience in system engineering and distributed infrastructure.
• Experience in database (SQL or NoSQL) with schema design.
• Experience in shipping large scale software as a service with high availability, lowlatencyand experience in performance tuning.

• Work withappropriate stakeholdersdetermineuser requirementsto source and ingest sports structured data.
• Drive identification of dependencies and develop design documents for the sports data platform and services.
• Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code toestablishand improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
• Partner withappropriate stakeholders(e.g., project managers) to drive project plan, estimation, work items,experimentationand release plan.
• Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following a playbook, working on call tomonitorsports data, data platform and service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiate actions to restore the service for simple and complex problems whenappropriate.
• Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt tonew trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
