Key Responsibilities
As the Director, Service Providers – Germany, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Service Provider sales organization in Germany, overseeing Managers and their teams focused on the telecommunications sector.
- Guide, mentor, and develop Managers and Account Managers, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving high performance across all levels.
- Develop and implement account strategies to achieve and exceed team and organizational sales targets.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and partners within the telecommunications industry.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive business growth and ensure the successful execution of go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform business decisions and maintain Fortinet’s leadership position.
- Ensure the achievement of agreed quarterly and annual sales goals for the Service Provider segment.
Qualifications
We are looking for an insightful and influential leader with the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of technology sales leadership experience, including managing and developing managers and sales teams.
- 8+ years’ experience selling to telecommunications clients, with a strong understanding of the industry landscape.
- 2+ years’ experience selling telecommunications network security products and services.
- Proven ability to drive sales strategy and deliver solutions to telecommunications customers.
- Demonstrated track record of quota achievement and career stability.
- Experience in closing large, complex deals in the IT vertical.
- Excellent executive-level presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA preferred.
