Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the sales team
- Participate in client meetings and other events such as ones organized in coordination with liquidity providers
- Educate clients on the trading mechanics of ETFs and safely guide them toward best execution
- Maintain relationships with listing exchanges to drive marketing efforts and host client focused bell ringings
- Work closely with product development to ensure new and existing products are structured efficiently for Designated Brokers
- Maintain relationships with Designated Brokers to facilitate a seamless trading environment
- Secure adequate liquidity and spreads both on and off exchange prior to and after launch
- Monitor spreads and premiums across products and communicate issues with Designated Brokers
- Remain at forefront of new industry developments and advocate for market structure initiatives vital to the progress of the ETF ecosystem
Required skills, qualifications and attributes:
- 5+ years of ETF experience, with a focus on the Canadian markets
- Multi-asset knowledge including equities, fixed income and derivatives
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical (Excel, Bloomberg, etc.) and analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems and create effective solutions
- Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, MBA, or advanced degree a plus
