Your Career

As a Technical Enablement Specialist at Palo Alto Networks, you will play a critical role in equipping our technical sales, customer support, and professional services teams with the in-depth product and industry knowledge necessary to excel with our NetSec portfolio. This hands-on role emphasizes direct task execution in building and delivering enablement programs, while simultaneously fostering your skill development to progress into more advanced enablement responsibilities. You will work directly with our NetSec solutions, contributing to the enhanced security operations, analytics, and automation capabilities our customers leverage.

Your Experience

Key Responsibilities & Task Execution:

  • Content Development & Curation):

    • Develop and manage practical, hands-on lab environments for NetSec products, ensuring they accurately reflect current features, configurations, deployments, and optimization best practices. This includes creating lab guides and exercises.

    • Build and refine technical training modules and documentation focused on NetSec product features, configuration, deployment, and optimization, using both internal tools and external resources.

    • Contribute directly to the creation of onboarding learning paths for new technical hires, ensuring they can effectively present, demonstrate, and deploy Palo Alto Networks NetSec products from day one.

    • Support the technical review and quality assurance of enablement content from the Technical Content team, ensuring accuracy and relevance.

  • Training Delivery & Support:

    • Deliver technical enablement sessions, workshops, and assessments on NetSec products and security operations methodologies (e.g., NGFW, SASE, Security Subscriptions), both remotely and in-person, to diverse technical audiences.

    • Act as a primary technical point of contact for specific product questions from stakeholders and technical team members, providing timely and accurate information.

    • Assist in the configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of NetSec labs for training and demonstration purposes.

  • Collaboration & Information Gathering:

    • Actively collect and synthesize technical product information from Product Engineering, Product Management, and other internal teams to ensure enablement content is up-to-date and comprehensive.

    • Participate in stakeholder interlock meetings with NetSec's technical sales leadership, product management, and customer support and delivery leaders, providing direct input on enablement needs and identifying areas for improvement.

    • Contribute to the communication plan for NetSec technical enablement updates and new releases to relevant stakeholders and technical personas.

  • Performance Measurement & Improvement:

    • Gather and analyze data and metrics related to program participation and performance outcomes for NetSec enablement initiatives.

    • Propose and implement targeted course corrections to enablement programs based on performance data, ensuring the desired learning and business results are achieved.

  • Strategic Thinking in Enablement: Begin to understand how individual enablement tasks contribute to broader organizational goals and how to optimize enablement for maximum impact.
