As a Data Engineer in FBA Inbound products analytics team, you will work directly with stakeholders and technical partners to design and implement cutting edge data solutions. You will be responsible for developing the data architecture components that scales for the ever-evolving data needs. You will solve big data warehousing problems on a massive scale. You will apply cloud-based AWS services to solve challenging problems around: big data processing, ETL, data warehouse design, and enabling self-service. You will focus on automation and optimization for all areas of DW/ETL maintenance. In addition to the technical skills, you possess strong written and verbal communication skills, obsess over the best for internal customers and demonstrate strong ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Synthesize business requirements into data platform architecture for use by business intelligence engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
- Develop new data pipelines and enhance existing ones. Establish new scalable, efficient and automated processes for ingesting data.- Develop the end-to-end automation of data pipelines, making datasets readily-consumable by visualization tools, machine learning platforms, and daily/weekly/monthly reporting processes.
- Define processes for optimized data retention, archival, and retrieval.
- Enhance processes to help maintain data integrity, availability, and auditability.

- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Bachelor's degree
