Role Summary
- As a Senior Sales Operations Proposal Manager, you will work closely with Client Account Managers, Market Sales Directors and Heads of Sectors on opportunity and client positioning activities of business-critical importance. This involves developing value propositions and differentiators that speak to key influencers within our client organizations, including C-suite.
- You will pro-actively initiate, facilitate and lead the application of the end-to-end Relationship-Based Sales (RBS) process to help position Jacobs to win major projects, programs and develop meaningful client relationships across all levels of the organization. As part of this process you will collaborate, motivate, and challenge your partners in developing distinctive value propositions that enhance our competitive position.
- You will leverage your global network to identify and put forward Jacobs’ unique capabilities and resources; and organize, direct, and motivate multidisciplinary opportunity teams to develop sales strategies and deliverables.
- As a senior member of the team, you will actively contribute to mentoring and capability development within Sales Operations. You will practice and model the collaborative consulting skills needed to form partnerships within complex stakeholders in the business and continue to develop your coaching, leadership, and facilitation skills.
- You will also need to be effective at bringing the ideas of others to market; have good judgment about which ideas and suggestions that work; and be able to manage the work winning and creative process of others.
- The Senior Sales Operations Proposal Manager supports the Regional Sales Operations Lead to instill an inclusive culture within the team that values diversity of thought and lives Jacobs’ Culture of Caring.
Here's what you'll need
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or any technical / related discipline from a college or university.
- Quick comprehension and a critical, analytical thinker who connects the dots and comes up with insightful ideas to continually and sustainably achieve work and clients.
- Ability to facilitate teams in developing and maturing fit-for-purpose, client-centric solutions in all submissions and external / outgoing deliverables
- Excellent communication skills and highly developed soft skills relating to facilitation, influencing others and instilling an inclusive culture within the opportunity team.
