Help AWS customers by designing and delivering new products that accelerate network scaling projects within AWS data centers. The software you will own is critical to meeting customer demand for more datacenter network capacity.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. You will regularly work with site managers and builders in datacenter locations around the world, including regular visits to observe your product in use in the real world. You will be the voice of the datacenter builder for our software team, ensuring the software we build reduces human error and helps builders deliver customer capacity faster. You will use many sources of data to ensure our products are working they way they should, including review of dashboard metrics or by querying BI databases. You will write crisp documents to keep your stakeholders informed about the impact your product is having.

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
