The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of a diverse range of immersive and visualisation Solutions to our clients. You will successfully plan, manage and deliver projects to meet client requirements, build the visualisation and immersive technology pipeline by developing and capitalising on technical leadership and working with the team in ANZ and overaeas.You will support your Visual Media collegues, be resilient and adaptable to strive for innovation while maintaining outstanding project delivery.We're looking for someone to support technical development of immersive solutions including:
- Generate leads and develop compelling presentations to showcase our services and solutions that drive business growth.
- Work with the wider team to prepate immersive solution development methodologies and cost for proposals that align with client needs and budgets.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to visualize and communicate design concepts effectively
- Continuously seek to expand knowledge and skills by staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements
- Develop workflows to utilise our international teams when required.
- Develop solutions making use of Unreal Engine, blueprints and sequencer
- Develop high-quality 3D models and assets using industry-leading software such as Autodesk 3ds Max, Adobe Suite, and advanced rendering tools.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively on multiple projects simultaneously.

This is an amazing opportunity to lead the technical delivery across a range of immersive solutions across ANZ to positively impact our clients and the lives of our communities. You will successfully plan, manage and deliver projects to meet client requirements, build the pipeline of work for immersive technology and work with the wider team. You’re passionate about creating polished and visually engaging assets. You also bring the following:
- Possess at least five years of experience in 3D visual effects, specializing in high-quality animation or interactive content creation, ideally in the AEC industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Adobe creative suite and 3ds Studio Max
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine, including intermediate knowledge of blueprints or C++ for unreal development and programming.
- Proficient in real-time asset creation, modeling requirements, lighting techniques, post-processing material & functions, rendering and optimization pipelines
- Previous experience (or an interest) in the Engineering , construction or Environmental sector is a plus
- be willing to work closely with team members to deliver large projects.
- Ability to juggle with multiple client engagement and requests.
- A positive can-do attitude and passion for learning.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Digital Engineering tools (including Navisworks, Revitzo and Revit)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with an eye for detail
- A portfolio showcasing your work.
- A willingness to be in a Jacobs office when required.
Desirable:
- Real Time PBR Development Experience using Substance Designer / Painter
- Experience developing for Virtual/Augmented/ Reality for mobile or HMD as well as Mixed Reality experiences.
- A knowledge of 3D plugins such as ForestPack, Railclone, Anima, Phoenix, Tyflow, is a bonus.
- Understanding of hardware and peripherals to support VR/AR/MR experiences.
- Experience with Unity or Omniverse is beneficial but no essential.
- Experience with ESRI City Engine and CGA
