o A Bachelors plus 12+ years OR Masters plus 10+ years OR PhD plus 7+ years in Computer Science or related field
o 7+Years of industry experience
o Verygood aptitude for performance engineering R&D and experience with performance benchmarks and methodology
o Hands-onworking experience in the development or performance engineering of Linux kernel, device drivers, file systems or the core storage stack.
o Goodprogramming skills
o Significantexperience working on large distributed systems
o Capablearchitecting/understandingcomplex software solutions
o Solidunderstanding of CPU, memory, network, and storage hardware and software subsystems as they relate to performance
o Basichypervisor and Linux system administration skills
o Excellentanalytical skills
o Excellentverbal and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
o Experiencewith ESXi and Linux performance tools
o Exposureto data analytics, machine learning and statistical analyses
o Strongbackground in operating system internals and computer architecture
Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is127,000 - $225,000.
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
