Consumer retail deposit products and governance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage consumer deposit products, assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product.

  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results

  • Implement team procedures and client problem resolution with a strong focus on documenting proper activities, controls, risk and monitoring (ACRM) require for product safety and soundness.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Lead process engineering efforts that foster simplification and lean systemic process lifecycles

  • Be a subject matter expert for deposit products, process, and technical applications

  • Highly self-motivated, effective communication, problem solving and decision management skills, and has the willingness to learn and adapt in an agile and ambiguous environment

  • Ability to drive business results

Additional responsibilities

  • Manage product approvals, define product requirements, create user stories, define acceptance criteria, oversee testing status, implementation, and post implementation activities

  • Maintain and prioritize product backlog Identify dependencies, risks, and issues that can impact client experience and product value proposition

  • Propose solutions to strength risk and control processes to create long term value and ensures compliance with policy and regulations

  • Develop project plans and identify work breakdown structure across product workstreams

  • Manage product launch and post implementation plans

  • Develop and present senior communication material

  • Partner with stakeholders across the bank, including product, program management, technology, operations, legal, and compliance

  • Proactive self-learner

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant product and/or project experience

  • Ability to manage deadlines and unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred
