Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain orchestration code using Azure Python SDK, Google Cloud SDK, Terraform (Azure RM & GCP modules), and GitHub Actions.
- Design automated tests to validate security policies, business features, and integrations across Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, GCP BigQuery, GCP Pub/Sub, and AI/ML services.
- Develop APIs, SDKs, and Webhooks for integrating Azure, GCP, and enterprise systems (e.g., DevOps tools, monitoring platforms).
- Manage cloud security controls, including Azure Key Vault, GCP Secret Manager, PKI, data encryption, and VPC Service Controls
- Continuously improve self-service automation for platform services, ensuring minimal manual intervention.
- Write and use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, primarily using Terraform, for provisioning and managing resources in both Azure and GCP.
- Troubleshoot cloud networking concepts including DNS, connectivity, Network Security Groups (Azure NSG) / Firewall Rules (GCP), routing, and load balancing across both Azure and GCP.
- Understand concepts related to deploying platform components and data analytics solutions via CI/CD pipelines targeting both cloud environments.
- Ensure that all cloud solutions follow internally defined security and compliance controls for both Azure and GCP.
- Ability to participate effectively in fast-paced engineering team
Required Skills:
- 2 years of experience developing IaC orchestration code using Python SDKs (Azure, GCP), Terraform, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions/Runners).
- 2 years experience writing automated test cases to validate security policies and business features across cloud platforms.
- Self-starter; demonstrated ability to take independent action to achieve results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and working in an Agile Scrum team.
