ABAP + Full stack Developer – Technology Assurance

As Risk Assurance Senior, you’ll contribute technically to Risk Assurance client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to assist fellow Seniors & Managers while actively participating within the client engagement Similarly, you’ll anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team. In line with EY commitment to quality, you’ll confirm that work is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As a member of the team, you’ll help to create a positive learning culture and assist fellow team members while delivering an assignment.

We’re looking for professional having at least 4 years or more of experience. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Skills and Summary of Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the design, development, testing, documentation, and support within the SAP environment.
• Developing code for the client's application modules in ABAP language. Involvement in project work for various SAP modules.
• Performing code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards, business logic and completeness.
• Developing ABAP solutions as per the design document requirements (workflow and PI for interfaces)
• Interacting with the Architects, Analysts, and other IT delivery teams to understand the functional requirements. Developing and implementing changes/enhancements using ABAP technology for BAU and small change aligned to SAP standard.
• Having experience in developing and maintaining all aspects of an application, including both the front-end and back-end components.
• Front-end technology: Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as React Js, Angular, jQuery and LESS
• Development languages: Knowledge of server-side programming languages including Net, Java, Ruby and Python
• Exposure working in client facing roles, collaborate with cross functional teams including internal audits, IT security and business stakeholders to assess control effectiveness and facilitate remediation activities.
• Good to have experience in IT Controls, Risk and Compliance.
  • Testing of internal controls such as IT general controls, IT application controls, IPE related controls, interface controls etc.
  • Design IT Risk Controls framework such as IT SOX.

To qualify for the role, you must have.

• At least 4 years of Development experience as an SAP ABAP developer.
• Strong understanding of ABAP objects (Object Oriented concepts) and Perform ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules.
• Experience with Object Oriented ABAP (ABAP 7.4 and above syntax) is preferred.
• Implementation knowledge on RICEFW objects, ODATA.
• Practical Knowledge of ABAP development toolkit, ADT for CDS and AMDP.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and conversions.
• Very good software development skills in Java and JavaScript, CSS, web services.
• Strong focus on Database and experienced in writing scalable SQL.
• Knowledge of data exchanging concepts and architectures, including RESTful APIs, and ETL processes and tools.
• Preferred Database skills (preferably DB2, SQL Server) to design tables, functions, triggers, stored procedures, and to satisfy specifications and requirements.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Bachelor's Degree or above in mathematics, information systems, statistics, computer science, or related disciplines.
• Relevant certifications are considered a plus.
• Provide high quality client services by directing daily progress of engagement work, informing engagement manager of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
