WHAT YOU WILL DO
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and lead cross functional teams in the development of eHDD (Enterprise Hard Disk Drive) products with a special emphasis on key technologies (Simulation, NAND etc), qualification testing and processes.
· Active participation in technical discussions with architects and key technical leaders.
· Ensure that program objectives and deliverables are accomplished in a timely fashion to meet product ramp requirements and build contingency plans.
· Support agile team development processes, helping to resolve roadblocks and impediments
· Measure and monitor the quality and progress of the work of the team and adjust accordingly
· Hire, coach, and manage staff as needed. Provide career development and performance coaching.
· Collaborate with peer managers to lead broader organizational initiatives
· Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 9-12 years experience.
· At least 1-2 years of experience in a people management role.
· Experience building and leading a team of strong and motivated engineers and mentoring them to maintain architectural vision and having a growth mindset.
· Demonstrate use of out-of-box thinking for creative solutions to highly sticky problems.
· You have excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication.
· Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment.
· Balanced technical and business mindset with great attention to detail and an ever positive, can-do attitude.

· Experience in architecture and development across one of these areas; ASIC/Firmware/Storage/Modeling/Simulation
