What you’ll be doing:

• Blend business insights and the data science toolkit to support critical finance data science initiatives with traditional machine learning, Bayesian statistics, simulation, and optimization.

• End-to-end data science, from ideation to development to deployment and ML Ops. Understand finance priorities and help the finance team use data science to move the needle on business problems.

• Integrate AI tools and Agents into data science workflows, and vice versa. Experiment with new technology and understand where it can add organizational value.

• Translate technical solutions into business language and business requests into technical solutions, communicating with technical and nontechnical business partners to make sure solutions are understood by all involved and meet business needs.

• Partner with multiple levels and teams across organizations (Finance, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams).

What we need to see:

• Professional, long-term experience as a Data Scientist (focused on AI/ML)developing/supportingbusiness facing projects.

• 8+ years of experience, including 5+ years of demonstrated ability in business-focused AI and Data Science. Job scope can be adjusted to accommodate more experienced candidates.

• BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering fields. Technical Master’s or Ph.D. with finance or business background is preferred.

• Data Science project management, driving projects and coordinating across multidisciplinary teams inside the organization.

• Strong technical skills, with a proven history of designing, validating, deploying, and maintaining data science models using Python, SQL, & Databricks (or similar).

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain good documentation and present projects to technical and business partners.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Operations finance or other applied, business-focused data science experience, especially at a larger company or in the semi / tech industry.

• A history of creative solutions using data science to add business value to an organization.

• Development background with NVIDIA software libraries and GPUs, and OpenACC, CUDA optimization experience.
