Key job responsibilities- Lead BI Solutions for complex problems, communicates effectively with management audience (e.g. narratives, inputs, bridge analysis).- Thought leadership on data mining and analysis, develop efficient data querying and modeling infrastructure, ensuring data quality throughout all stages of acquisition and processing, including such areas as data sourcing/collection, normalization, transformation etc.- Analysis of historical data to identify trends and support decision making, including written and verbal presentation of results and recommendations.- Identifying and understanding data needs and data resources - which to use, how, and when, along with mining and manipulating data from those data resources and driving data quality improvement projects
- Gather requirements and work backwards those to design analytical solutions to solve business needs, while translating business questions and concerns into specific analytical questions that can be answered with available data using BI tools; produce the required data when it is not available.
- Create end-to-end analytical solutions (i.e. Datasets, data pipelines, dashboards, process automation, etc.) using technologies such as Redshift, Datanet, Quicksight, Cradle, SQL, Python, etc.

- 10+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
