The Finance Acctg Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. The primary role for this position is to drive the Corporate Others charge-outs process, interact extensively with FRSS Mumbai and FP&A and support numerous analytical and investment priorities. This role will lead the day-to-day Corporate Others charge out process from the Controllers perspective and considered as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). This position will partner with the FP&A team to ensure the Corporate Others charge-out plan is developed on a timely and accurate manner. The role will ensure that global tax and regulatory rules as well as the global charge out guidelines are adhered to in the plan development and in the charge out process. This position will assist FP&A to update charge out plan during Functional and Mid-Year Forecast. The position will also perform analysis to ensure charge out is aligned to expense trend. Responsibilities: • Acts as a technical expert for the Corporate Others charge out process to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. • Supports the management and control data flows to and within Finance applications to ensure integrity and completeness of data, ensuring controls exist for preparing and recording financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes. • Partner with key stakeholders including FRSS Billing teams, FP&A teams, TPU teams, Inter-Affiliates Transfer Pricing teams, Tax teams, and Regional Controllers and FP&A teams to ensure the Corporate Others charge out process is controlled and managed to meet all the various regulatory and firmwide requirements. Also will partner with legal entity managers, across multiple locations communicating strategy and action plans. • Identify and appropriately highlight / escalate potential issues relating to account with stakeholders such as Country controllers / Tax, Global FP&A and work with them for resolution. • Applies in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and advanced knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area. • Demonstrates an advanced understanding of how multiple process collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals. • Directly impacts the leadership in multiple process through responsibility for delivery of end results leading to business solutions. • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards. • Provides assurance and partners with audit team to monitor controls and accuracy of accounting. • Persuades and influences others through strong communication and diplomacy skills. • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications: • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Master in business administration (MBA)/ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent combination of education • 6-10 years of experience in accounting management with commensurate stakeholder management experience
