About the Role

We’re looking for an individual to help manage the reliability and efficiency of our proposition on Uber Eats, ensuring we achieve our operational and financial goals for all Grocery & Retail deliveries. As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivery completion rates, on-time delivery and fulfilment efficiency. You’ll partner with our internal teams and external merchant partners to optimise and implement strategies for Grocery & Retail deliveries to ensure we meet our consumers’ expectations.

What you will do

• Monitor, diagnose and address root causes of delivery failures and order quality (e.g., late deliveries, cancelled orders) and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to implement solutions
• Optimise fulfilment efficiency through identifying and managing bottlenecks across the order lifecycle
• Partner with merchant partners to achieve commercial outcomes without compromising on operational quality
• Launch and embed end-to-end scalable solutions, processes, systems and procedures associated with Grocery & Retail deliveries
• Collaborate with global Grocery & Retail teams to share best practices and learnings, and leverage expertise and resources from other markets

What you will need

• 3+ years experience in professional work experience in a related field (consulting, business operations, tech, analytics, etc.)
• Hustle and self-starting mindset; identifying initiatives to improve reliability and fulfilment operations; you are able to identify and solve emerging problems, multitask and execute with speed and quality
• An analytical mindset and business acumen with experience using SQL and Excel/gSheets; being hands on with the tools will be crucial to your success in this role
• Track record of engaging and influencing cross-functional teams with evidence of complex project management in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Previous experience in eCommerce, Retail, FMCG or Consulting industries highly desirable
