Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates the Next Generation Avionics (NGA) solutions within Honeywell Aerospace Electronic Solutions . You will be responsible for maintaining the state of the art test labs for on target testing of the NGA. This role includes insuring the usability of the lab facility by maintaining the Micro SITS and Mini SITS in the correct hardware and software configurations, completing new system integration activities for bringing SITS benches on-line and maintaining their configurations, troubleshooting problems with bench hardware and wiring, and supporting engineering teams with general bench usability. You will also initiate automated testing to validate bench IO configuration.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining state of the art test labs for on target testing of Avionics products and electronic components
  • Configuration and management of benches to support multiple user test environments
  • Troubleshooting problems with bench hardware and wiring
  • Completing new system integration activities and troubleshooting integration problems
  • Establishing and maintain lab environment and infrastructure to maximize facility availability
  • Test data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting
  • Use of lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, etc
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Associates degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Systems, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of Engineering Technician experience
WE VALUE
  • Experience with integrated avionics systems preferrable
  • Experience with aircraft simulation environments preferrable
  • Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, network data analysis test software
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional design teams including Systems, Software, Hardware, and Test
  • Experience with Agile development processes of value.
  • Familiarity with system development lifecycle guided by FAA/EASA requirements and ARP-4754A of value.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
