As a Manufacturing Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Provides engineering leadership for the Greystone crushing operations.
  • Establishes a network of resources and contacts to meet business goals and customer needs.
  • Utilizes technical skills to compile and review information to evaluate project scope, equipment specifications and other project requirements.
  • Monitors product factory cost and initiates continuous improvement projects.
  • Utilizes project management skills to organize and execute projects.
  • Supports site and focus factory resources with process improvements.
  • Drives understanding of key customer needs and monitors process capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting process problems, supporting new process introductions, & providing accurate documentation.
  • Leads disruptive technology projects within assigned department(s). Including project scoping, technology search, project justification, basic design, assist with project management, and lead implementation andtroubleshooting.Manage proprietary information.
  • Cross functional team leadership for new process start-ups, new process technology integration, cost reduction, and supply chain improvements.
  • Supports factory experiments for new products and product modifications.

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (
at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Three (3) years of engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Five (5) years of engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Experience in aggregate or granular process operations
  • Self-starter/self-directedthat leads with high energy and passion.
  • Proven track of continuous process improvement
  • Effective facilitation, communication, and teaching skills
  • Ability to engage and influence all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints
