Job responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Creates an exciting new shopping destination for Chase customers that helps them level up how they shop and get more from the brands they love
• Uses the power of Chase to bring new inspiration, value and convenience to millions of people as part of Offers & Shopping and Connected Commerce
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Performs Automation Testing
• Completes development assignments on time with an appropriate level of quality to support project efforts
• Participates in a digital technology project from concept to implementation, and through all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Creates work estimates based on technology concepts and requirements documentation.
• Supports project releases

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience in Swift or Objective C development
• Experience working with architectures such as MVVM, Delegate and Observer patterns
• Familiarity with Dependency Injection and Reactive Programming
• Created an application that is available in Apple's App Store
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning
• Enthusiasm for automated testing
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with source control management
