Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years’ experience in engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), architecture or technical program management OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
  • 2+ years' of experience working in a mission critical environments on a multidisciplinary level
  • Experience working with other technical and non-technical groups in a fast-paced environment

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years’ experience in mission critical or hi-tech industry such as datacenters, largescale manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or oil gas industry, with proven track record in design and/or project/program management capacity.
  • Knowledge of lease contracts and remedies
  • An understanding of datacenter lease market in region would be highly desirable

Responsibilities

This position will support the growth of our Datacenter Lease portfolio in the region and will manage the review of lease designs for technical compliance with Microsoft’s requirements including layout, power, cooling, telecom, and controls infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Govern technical compliance with Microsoft’s requirement through review of lease provider’s design documents
  • Coordinate a team of external architects, engineers and designers to carry out lease datacenter design audit
  • Operate portfolio information tools and manage document repository
  • Provide external vendors and internal team members with portfolio information tool orientation and support
  • Consult with the relevant internal engineering/architectural SMEs on technical matters as appropriate
  • Provide technical support to lease site acquisition team on design-related items post contract execution and any other stage of the lease process as required.
  • Present weekly portfolio review status report with gaps in region through lease/tech audit
  • Organize travel planning and “ready to review” actions needed at site visits
  • Evaluate and grade lease providers engagement, documentation and engineering staff responsiveness
