The Business Integration Lead (BIL) oversees and provides guidance for the Integration uplift activities while working with business functional owner. The BIL is responsible for risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk, focusing on five key areas:
- Evaluation of the group’s business processes to identify and assess risk(s).
- Engage in discussions with the business process owners to design and/or enhance process controls.
- Partner with the business process owners and other stakeholders to identify and address timely any Control gaps or breaks.
- Provide oversight and leadership of the overall control governance & reporting.
- Provide assistance to management in any other projects or tasks that will up lift employee compliance and business objectives.

- Lay out the critical path and identify and coordinate interdependencies across work-streams
- Share best practices in assessing the existing control environment of newly acquired businesses and identifying opportunities to strengthen the control environment
- Provide thought leadership and structure in support of the Integration workstreams to ensure alignment of objectives, desired outcome, and execution plans
- Partner effectively with colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, and technology control functions to drive consistent and rigorous operational risk practices and control programs
- Support the establishment of control frameworks, governance and reporting for new and emerging areas of the businesses, or enhancing existing frameworks, with the objective of ensuring consistency and sustainability across business organizations
- Apply risk and control concepts during strategy sessions and working sessions to plan and support the execution of integration work across multiple workstreams
- Provide ongoing feedback and guidance to assist Controls teams in developing a sharper understanding of risk concepts, the application to risk and control evaluations, including identifying initiatives/issues potentially resulting in financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk
- Create and deliver executive communications and status reporting for business and functional support leadership
- Assist employees, hr and management on employee training and language barriers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Must have the ability to work independently and quickly adapt to new or ambiguous situations with minimal direction
- Expert knowledge of control and risk management concepts as well as control execution activities
- Proven ability to manage complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs
- Demonstrate confident leadership and sound judgment to influence a strong culture and risk management
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with and influence a diverse set of stakeholders at the senior executive level, as well as strong conflict resolution skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate to senior internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to develop compelling and meaningful executive presentations that will drive opportunities / recommendation for improvement
