Key Responsibilities:
- Develop processes which improve product quality as seen by the customer.
- Develop processes which improve internal yields throughout the manufacturing process.
- Promote HOS / Lean initiatives.
- To develop reliable cost-effective processes for New Products on time to budget that meet forecast demand at planned cost to agreed quality standards.
- Reduce direct and indirect costs within manufacturing.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Manufacturing/Process Engineering Degree or equivalent, or recognized time served apprenticeship.
- Experience in process/ manufacturing engineering.
- Direct experience of implementing 6/lean methodologies and techniques to promote a continuous improvements culture.
- Extensive use of lean manufacture and six sigma tools to improve Quality, Delivery and Cost
- Six Sigma green Belt certification.
