As the Sr. Product Manager for monetization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of global commerce solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading strategic initiatives to optimize monetization of payment solutions, driving market expansion, and enhancing customer experience. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and launch innovative products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maximizing revenue growth. To achieve this, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including partner sales, design, engineering, and marketing—to develop and deploy solutions that address the evolving needs of our partners and customers.

As a strategic and results-driven leader, you will play a crucial role in the PayPal Commerce Platform's (PPCP) next phase of growth. With exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of the payments and commerce landscape, and efforts that will drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction, you will look to establish PayPal as a leader in payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive innovation through ideation discussions with partners, product requirement definition, deliverable planning, and execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and launch innovative monetization products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maximizing revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, using this information to inform product strategy and decision-making. Synthesize product insights with input from Sales, GMS, CSM/PSM, and Customers to help drive theproduct roadmap.
  • Drive market research and learning plans to identify new opportunities and trends in the partner products space. Use this information to inform the product roadmap and product strategy.
  • Develop and drive a globallyconsistent strategic and technical planningprocess for sales and products thatincludes competitiveassessment, differentiation, and GTM execution.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance and make data-driven recommendations to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., engineering, marketing, business administration)
  • 7+ years of experience in Billing in an Internet application, Payments, e-Commerce, or Online Banking.
  • Strong understanding of the partner products space, and experience developing and launching successful partner-facing products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization including senior executives at Partners.
  • Strong ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration in multiple geographies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Proven track record of delivering products on time, within budget, and to a high level of quality.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
