In this job you will be responsible for:
  • Legal Aspects for Contingent Workforce Management : Handle legal compliance, contracts, and any legal issues that arise concerning contingent workers, ensure that contracts are accurately drafted and protect the company’s interests , manage relationships with staffing agencies/external vendors providing contingent workers.
  • Unified Policy for Non-Employee Workforce (NEWF): Maintain and update a comprehensive policy for managing non-employee workforce across all KLA sites in Israel, collaborate with relevant partners (HR, legal, procurement) to ensure consistency and alignment with KLA values and goals, work with relevant collaborators to support the implementation of a NEWF management system.
  • Employment Matters from a Legal Perspective: Handle legal matters related to employee contracts/ terminations /workplace policies, ensure compliance with labor laws and anti-discrimination regulations, provide sound legal advice to HR and management as a business partner, audit legislation, regulations, case law, and government enforcement activities relating to employment issues and provide proactive, strategic advice to the relevant partners as necessary.
  • Local HR Policies: Define and maintain HR policies specific to the Israeli context in areas such as leave entitlements/ benefits/ performance management/ and employee conduct, tailor policies to local cultural norms and legal requirements while aligning them with KLA's global HR framework, highlight your ability to balance standardization with localization.
  • HR Projects: contribute to various HR projects such as employee engagement/ diversity and inclusion/ talent development/ process improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to drive positive change within the organization.
Job requirements:
  • Law degree from a well-recognized institution of study – must
  • 3-5 years of expertise in labor law, contract negotiation, and risk management.
  • Capability to lead projects and handle sophisticated organizational interfaces and multiple partners and senior managers.
  • Deep understanding of organizational processes from an HR perspective
  • Ability to understand and analyze contracts, conduct risk evaluations.
  • Build and work with reports and databases.
  • Excellent collaboration capabilities, with different partners and ability to work independently
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills
  • Commercial skills - advantage
