Associate Test Engineer Trainee
You will Learn:
- How to interpret blueprints and diagrams.
- Collect, log, and interpret data for daily reports
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings
- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- Work effectively across different functional teams in different locations.
Job Description
- Perform Assist with performing the set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies.
- May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
- Work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
- Simple troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications, but not limited to:
- Ability to work in a clean room manufacturing environment is required.
- You must be okay working 40 hours a week during the summer and 20 hours a week minimum during the school year.
- Basic understanding of optics, mechanical, and electrical principles is helpful.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrate excellent organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization.
- Willingness to learn, collaborate effectively within and across teams, and strive for continuous improvement.
- You can stand, sit, bend, and periodically lift to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
