What You’ll Do:
Work with a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems
Perform software development on Front End Applications leveraging a test-driven development pattern
Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems
Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends and best practices in UI/UX design and development, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand project requirements and translate them into user-friendly UI designs
Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (React), TypeScript and Java, open source frameworks (Express), RESTful web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development
Implement responsive and interactive user interfaces using Lit Html and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Express, and Lit Element
Work closely with the design team to create pixel-perfect UI designs that align with the overall brand and design guidelines
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and performance of the UI across various browsers and devices
Implement and customize Backstage plugins to enhance the developer experience and streamline workflows
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)
At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
7+ years of experience in at least one of the following: React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Node
4+ years of experience in open source frameworks
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
2+ years of experience in Agile practices
3+ years of UI/UX design principles and tools
1+ years of experience with Backstage
