As a Certification and Conformance Associate you will play a key role in ensuring the correct certification of 3M Personal Safety Division (PSD) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for sale in Malaysia and certain other countries in Southeast Asia. In this role you will be able to identify the regulatory requirements for each country, work with appropriate test labs and agencies to submit products for certification and arrange manufacturing site audits as required to ensure conformance of products at all times.

• Identifying the regulatory product certification requirements for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) portfolios and geographies supported.
• Preparing and submitting regulatory documentation for product certification schemes applicable to PSD’s product portfolio and maintaining documentation in division and corporate systems.
• Actively working with appropriate test labs, notified bodies, and agencies to submit products for certification, accelerate the registration process, and arrange manufacturing site audits as required to ensure conformance of products.
• Working with business portfolio leader(s), manufacturing, and other cross functional roles for the introduction of new products and management of change in existing products to ensure regulatory compliance at alltimes
• Engaging with regulatory authorities, notified bodies, or agencies with any post-market follow-up activities or issues.
• Keeping abreast of changes in applicable standards andRegulations/Directives.
• Performing routine regulatory tasks for new and existing products.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) in scientific or engineering discipline
• At least two (2) years of regulatory experience
• Fluent in English
