Overall Responsibilities: As a leader in GDS Business Consulting, you are expected to:
- Team Management : The FSRM leader will lead a team of ~ 25 to 35 professionals. These professionals specialize in providing our banking clients with premium Consulting services to comply with risk and regulatory requirements across the globe.
- Account Management : Working with the area and regional FSRM leaders (mainly US FSO) to plan GDS penetration in relevant solutions in these geographies. Lead pursuits, proposals and represent EY in client orals. Develop Account strategy, planning & pipeline management. Lead the Stakeholder relationship in Accounts
- Talent Management : Embedding GDS into the respective area FSRM’s recruiting plan / L&D / initiatives / staffing / project delivery processes. Drive diversity and inclusiveness, mentor, collaborate and help achieve team goals. Drive recruitment and hiring strategies. Participate in and encourage organization-wide people initiatives
- Delivery Management: Be responsible for and oversee GDS service delivery across locations – Ensure the quality of our deliverables. Support with Subject matter competency/expertise into the account services. Developing technical capabilities in Liquidity, treasury and ALM subjects across the end-to-end regulatory reporting process, including ILST, ILAAP, Basel and other relevant areas (like IRRBB, Balance Sheet forecasting, Stress Testing, Fund Transfer Pricing, Cash flow management, etc.), controls. governance, Liquidity risk review, Reg reporting quality assurance and regulatory implementations for systems like QRM, OFSAA, etc.
General and Educational Qualifications / Certifications
- Advanced degree in technical areas like in statistics, economics, finance and other technical areas like engineering, science, management, analytics etc.
- Expertise in FS sector knowledge with ~12+ years of working experience in the sector – especially around financial/banking regulations ( Basel 3/3.1). Experience in financial services / capital markets/banking, with strong domain knowledge
- Experience in working in Treasury & ALM department in Banks or Management Consulting firms
- IRRBB risk understanding, modelling & reporting capabilities
- QRM or equivalent solution working and modelling knowledge
- Treasury and/or Liquidity Risk / Operations experience in BFSI
- Experience in leading large Banking accounts and managing key client stakeholders in consulting firms
- Strong people and team management credentials – specially in highly skilled areas like financial modelling, risk, quantitative techniques, and technology.
Good to have
- Certifications such as CA,FRM, CFA, PRM, CQF etc. or knowledge/experience at that level
- Hands on experience in some of the areas: Liquidity risk management and IRRBB, ALM in banks, Fund Transfer Pricing, etc
- Regulatory knowledge/experience in areas such as Basel, US NPR, EBA, etc.
- Software implementation experience: QRM, OFSAA, etc etc.
- Previous project management experience
- Willingness (domestic and international) to travel to meet client needs
